Welcome to Corpus Christi Eskrima Blog
Corpus Christi Eskrima is a fighting system which is a fusion of Eskrima (a weapons based martial art from the Philipines) with methods derived from Kung-Fu, Millitary Combatives, various knife-fighting methods and Western-Fencing methods.
The term “Corpus Christi” is derived from the final venue of the club based in the Moyross, Community Buildings,Limerick City. This website is an attempt to preserve for posterity and to collate some of the training methods, drills and tactics Master Bennis imparted.
The intention is to continue and spread the art that Master Bennis taught.
I hope you all enjoy some of the upcoming posts and look forward to training with you some day.
